Fun Things Going On - Southern Winter

Blog Post Image
Real Estate

Winter down South is so different that winter up North.  I am willing to rake leaves and pick up pine cones in January in exchange for warm winds and sunlight. We had a great delayed Christmas down with Mom and my daughter and her husband.  We are still helping Mom fight with her insurance company over roof damage from Ian.  It's been ugly.  We all got plenty of sunshine and had a great time playing Uno.  Now we are back home and have nose to the grindstone.  John has volunteered to be the Secretary of MOAA (Military Officers Assistance Assoc.).  It is a very active chapter that has interesting programs and does some great work in the community.  If you would like to join I would be happy to provide you with contact information.

If you are looking for something to do here in town this weekend:

HOME BUYING ANXIETY

As a first time home buyer, it's natural to suffer some anxiety as you make your decisions and begin the process of buying your first home. Just remember, there are numerous benefits to homeownership:

  • Building equity - keep your money invested in something you own rather than giving it away to your landlord.
  • Stability and security - no more rent hikes, no more moving because of someone else's say-so.
  • It's all yours - your décor, your pets, your decision.

Give me a call today and let's get started on finding you your first home – even if you got a few jitters.
