Yesterday was National Puppy Day. What fun. When John goes on his walks around he always carries a bag of treats for the various puppies that are out walking their owners. He is a very popular guy with the dogs. The weather is so perfect for walking right now. We are going to wake up one of these days and it is going to be 90degrees. I can wait. I am enjoying all the spring shows. Have you gone to any yet? We went to the Home and Patio show and am looking forward to the Home and Garden show in May 8-11. They are so much fun and so easy to get to just down I95.
I have had some questions about how Mom is doing. She is settling in and getting signed up with various doctors and such. Trying to get her into therapy for strength training. She does have a blood clot in her eye which she now has an appointment with a specialist in Brunswick to solve. We were told this is fairly common for someone of her age. It is a bit of a annoyance as it blocks part of her vision on one side. Patch-patch-patch.
John and I are getting ready for our trip to Disney end of April. It will be our first time staying at Shades of Green which should be interesting. It is across the street behind the Polynesian Hotel (stayed there in 1972 on my first trip to Disney). The Shades of Green is a hotel for military members set up by Walt Disney. It will be interesting to see how the transportation works. They do have a nice Spa we will be using.
REMINDER: Homestead exemption rebates must be filed by April 1: https://www.co.camden.ga.us/92/Homestead-Exemption
