Happy New Year. Don't forget to cover your outside spigots and other exterior equipment like pumps or water softeners when the overnight temps are dipping down this week. Lowes and Ace Hardware have foam spigot covers for $4-5 each. An old town or blanket works also. It's going to be a good week to snuggle up with loved ones and stay warm. We still want to go to the JAX Zoo and see the Wild Lights show. Fortunately it's running through February, so we can wait for it to warm up just a bit.
Christmas is all packed away. I managed to go on Replacement.com and find a replacement for one of my penguin plates that got broken. The price wasn't as bad as I anticipated. At $25 delivered for a lunch size plate. It's so hard when your special dished get bashed about. Otherwise it is back to work starting to look forward to Spring. I would very much like to build some raised garden beds. I'm watching all kinds of youtube video's and talking with some of the neighbors. I really want to plant more of a garden this year, but I need a plan to avoid the bunnies and deer. Also, our friend the Armadillo seems to be back. Not fun. They are hard to turf out. Any advise you have would be appreciated.
