I hope you have had a wonderful week. I don't recall ever having had so many thunder storms so close together. It was certainly a loud week. My Mom called yesterday and said she had a recall on her 17 year old car. That in itself is a rather startling statement. They told her not to drive the car, they would come tow it to the dealership to replace something on the brakes and make sure she had a loaner. It sounds like Mercedes must have lost a lawsuit as the brakes have been functioning flawlessly for 17 years. In contrast, my son got a recall also this week from Ford. There is potentially a bushing missing on the transmission that can cause issues (like fire). Not to worry, they will contact us some time in November or December when they actually have replacement parts in stock to deal with the issue. No mention of time or loaner cars.
I love that today is National French Fry day (does anyone remember Freedom Fries?). I love FF. John made chili cheese fries for dinner the other evening. Not the healthiest meal, but it was fantastic. How do you like your fries?
