What a great Memorial Day Weekend. The flags were flying and the sun was shining. Hot dogs were on the grill and cold water melon cut up. I missed the blue berry picking, but will be sure to be at the next opportunity. Don't forget, today is the first day of hurricane season. I've attached an article from USAA with a link for storm preparedness.

Hurricane season has arrived - are you and your family prepared? Because you live in an area where hurricanes can occur, we want to help you protect your loved ones, your home, and your finances. The key to reducing the risk of damage to your home and vehicle is to begin preparing now. Plan ahead with resources on evacuation routes, emergency supplies, home prep and insurance info. Tools to Help You PrepareVisit our Natural Disaster Preparation Site for hurricane preparedness checklists and tools to review your coverage like the Property Risk Assessment, Natural Disaster Coverage Review and Building Code Lookup Tool. These can help you discover if your property could be vulnerable to other natural disasters and what coverage you might need.
Did you know your roof can be the most vulnerable point during a storm? Many roofs aren't adequately protected to withstand damaging wind and the resulting water damage that could occur. For more information on how to protect your roof, visit usaa.com/stronger roof. We hope that a hurricane never strikes your property, but if it does, we always stand ready to help. Thank you, United Services Automobile Association
