Fun Things Going On - Fall Back Sunday

Real Estate

I hope you had a Spooktacular Halloween.  John and I had a wonderful time at the Jacksonville Zoo.  We have been talking about going to years and didn't.  I have a feeling it will be regularly on our visit schedule from now on.  Not as many trick or treaters this year as last (32).  Had closer to 50 last year.  I think there are more organized events now.  It does seem to take some of the energy out of things.

So, we have packed away Halloween and got out our Pilgrims in preparation for Thanksgiving.  Out with the old...   James and I managed to get ALL of the windows washed inside (including the ledges and under sides).  As soon as it warms up again we'll finish off the outside.  It is amazingly brighter in the house now.  Funny thing that.

John and I stopped in at that new coffee shop in St Marys the Bug and Bean.  Cute shop with some great baked goods and local art.  It was a nice stop after hitting the Weekly market now set up at Orange Hall lawn.  It's a much better venue than the waterfront.  So much easier to get to and lots of room to walk around and chat.  Picked up some fresh eggs.

Here are some other fun things to do around town:

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR: Kaitlyn Raby
PROGRAM MANAGER: Sophia Loveday
SUMMARY: Based on the 1968 film, this crowd-pleasing farce became a Broadway smash hit in 2001. Fading Broadway producer Max Bialystock is desperate to get to the top of his profession again, and he finds an unlikely ally in mousy accountant Leo Bloom, who hypothesizes that one could make far more money with a flop of a show than with a hit. Together, the two set out to produce the worst musical ever to hit Broadway, with the worst script, the worst director, and the worst cast they can find. They only need $2-million to pull it off! It takes some skill to be "the worst" so bring your “A” game to auditions!
AUDITION DETAILS: Prepare a 30 second monologue and 45 seconds of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. You may sing acapella or bring recorded accompaniment on your mobile device, there will be Bluetooth speakers available. A short dance break will be taught, wear appropriate clothing to move in. If you are a tapper, bring your tap shoes! Adult Content (Ages 16+, minors must have parent permission) Those with conflicts may email video auditions by November 11 to: Encore@SaltwaterPAC.org
