Did you have a great week? Mine was a bit hectic. Been dealing with a combination of Murphy's Law and the Rule of Unintended Consequences. The Murphy's Law has definitely been with work with an out of area Seller. All is working out alright in the end, but it has been a bit hair raising in the mean time. The other is with "helpful advice" from distant friends coming to my mother. I am pondering how to respond without sounding like I am asking them to do what I would like them to do. At least with age I have learned to ponder before speaking. It's not easy, but I am trying.
John's mother fell at her facility a few days past. She broke 4 ribs and one lung deflated. The doctors were unable to re inflate the lung due to her frail condition. They have her on oxygen, but she won't keep the hose on. Her oxygen level is getting quite low and she is under 100lbs. With the dementia, she is agitated and confused. What an ugly disease. Prayers are greatly appreciated. Dealing with older family members is just part of the cycle of life - not the fun part, but then diapers and fevers and teething were not that great either.
We do have some fun stuff coming up. Our MOAA (military officers assoc of america) group is getting a tour of Pigmental Studios in St Marys in a couple of weeks. That is the new animation studio being built on part of the old airport property. The owner came and made a presentation to our group and I am very excited to be getting a tour. It's so great we have these new businesses coming to our area. I personally am most excited about the Aldi in the old Winn-Dixie in St Marys. I've been a Aldi fan for years and glad I won't have to drive so far to go.
